   She’s one of the few people who looked better with a little meat on her. Not that losing weight isn’t a good thing, but she’s dropped a little too much. I think she’s scarey looking.

   Shilling for wedding freebies ruined her career, it’s really disgusting to beg for free shit when you could more than afford a wedding. Has this woman no pride? I guess the white bathing suit is proof of that.

   She had heart surgery I belive when she was really long. She mentioned it in some interview that she uses necklaces to lind of cover it up because she is so embarressed by it. Like any other woman would. I think it’s distasteful to make fun this scar (maybe you didn’t know).

   Um if that really is a scar from heart surgery, and she really wants to hide it, then why does she consistently wear tops that show off her cleavage? Why would she wear the dress in this pic? The scar is clearly visible, even without the closeup.

   Whatev, she’s so self-centered there’s not enough room anywhere for her ego.

   I absolutely loathe Star Jones but to make fun of her scar is wrong. I have a scar on my chest but because I’m a female with a scar on my chest I shouldn’t wear low cut stops if I want? That’s ridiculous. Grow up and get over it.

    i am sorry but i find this post a bit offensive. i myself have had 13 life-saving operations (not weight related, but still) and i have several large scars over my stomach and back. i have heard lots of comments on my scars over the years, and now you write this story about somebody having scars! ofcourse it isn’t cool to have them, but when somebody does, please don’t judge him/her by that.
    apart from that; love your site; keep it up!

    scars add character….. and often become of a life threatening experience.. don’t be self conscious of them. most of the time they can’t be avoided. i’m sure if brad pitt had a scar it would have been posted.. relax!

    The scar is from having a cancer removed from her chest in her early 20’s. The tumor was wrapped around major organs in her chest - which is why the scar is so large. If she is now comfortable with it - then let her. Don’t look.

    The times I’ve seen star jones she seems smart and professional. Her personal views are way out there, like when she wrote a post-Katrina editorial slamming people of color in the south, I was shocked. Sold out, clueless or both, then i heard about the wedding thing.

    I’ve concluded that the poor women’s head got so large, it just exploded, hence the view having to dump her. Sad tragedy of fame.
